内容简介:

We consider a supply chain that consists of a supplier with key technology to produce a critical component, an independent manufacturer that has also the capability to produce the component internally, and a dependent manufacturer that sources the component from the supplier. We examine how the manufacturer’s internal sourcing capability affects the supplier’s incentive to engage in exclusive selling with the dependent manufacturer (who would otherwise be excluded from the market) and the manufacturer’s own make-or-buy decision. We also study a setting in which the independent manufacturer has the ability to improve its internal sourcing capability via costly investment. In that context, we examine the effects of mandatory exclusion, arising from government-imposed regulations, on all parties’ decisions and profitability as well as on consumer welfare.

 


讲座专家简介:

关旭,华中科技大学米兰网页版,米兰(中国),米兰(中国)教授,博士生导师。2013年毕业于华中科技大学、获得管理科学与工程博士学位;2007年毕业于华中科技大学米兰网页版,米兰(中国),米兰(中国),获得管理学学士学位。主要研究方向为运营与供应链管理、不对称信息、信息获取与披露。近年来在Production and Operations Management (6篇), Journal of Retailing, Naval Research Logistics, Decision Sciences, 管理科学学报,系统工程理论与实践,中国管理科学等国内外权威学术期刊发表论文60余篇。主持包括国家自科优秀青年科学基金,NFSC-RGC联合基金,自科面上与青年基金;教育部人文社科规划与青年基金;博士后特别资助和面上基金等多项科研基金项目。担任Management Science, Production and Operations Management等国际权威学术期刊审稿人。
